Amp buzzes when turned on

I have a small, cheap amp - (15W gear4music) that emits a high pitched buzzing noise (like on an old LW/MW radio not tuned into a station) when turned on with the volume on anything but 0. The noise increases in volume as the volume of the amp is increased.

Any thoughts - easy fix? Just trying to decide whether to bin it or worth tinkering with.

Might be oscillating. Could always open it up check for obvious failures . definitely needs repair. Push around on board with chop stick and see if things change pitch or sound. Could point to obvious component.

Oscillating usually caused with fault on output or input. So check wire connections to internal/ external speaker jacks etc etc likewise input connectors or related components close to input or output. And if it has headphone output and that cuts off the internal speaker. The headphone jack might be dirty or the switches inside the jack could be faulty or not making proper contact or a contact that shouldn't be happening
