I'm looking to replace the pickups on my Geddy Lee Signature J Bass. Any suggestions?

I have a Geddy Lee Signature J Bass. Sounds great for everything from Grand Funk to Johnny Cash, and has a neck that's very comfortable for my small fingers.

I like the Jaco tone, but my goal is to sound as much as I can like an upright.

I have a low-end fretless Fender J- Bass and am thinking of upgrading the pickups in order to improve the sound. There are many different models of J pickups, and the only ones I'm familiar with are the ones that came with my bass, and Seymour Duncan. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks, zfunkman. I think I'm going to just have a techie pull the frets and do the job. Don't have a lot of money for a new neck, and the bass only cost me about $400 to begin with.
