Pickup replacements for fretless J-Bass

I have a low-end fretless Fender J- Bass and am thinking of upgrading the pickups in order to improve the sound. There are many different models of J pickups, and the only ones I'm familiar with are the ones that came with my bass, and Seymour Duncan.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I put Noiseless Aguilars in my fretless Jazz. Love the tone.

Do you want a Jaco kinda tone?

I like the Jaco tone, but my goal is to sound as much as I can like an upright.
