Nice sounds good! I hear a lot more low mids with the new pickups. I find that my bass cuts through better now. Which is nice not in a everyone has to hear everything i play more, but in an I don't have to turn up quite as much kind of a way.

That is the same pickup combo I have plus the delano pre amp I can post a few clips tomorrow.

I put the delano pickups and preamp in mine and it made a world of difference. With the lh3 I would almost disappear when slapping. Now all tones are very even the low notes on the b string sound much better too.

hmm with a stingray i wouldn't think you would have any problems, really you shouldn't with a passive bass either. mine it set at 2 o'clock right now passive and it is reacting to light playing.

I have to crank it pretty high for a few of my basses. Do you have any idea if you bass is very low output? Try to put something in front of it with gain if you can and see how much more you need.
