I just picked up a Bartolini preamp for a set of Nordstrand Big Singles I have in an Ibanez. Prior to the preamp it was ok (still not ballsy enough). However, after the Bart install... Still not cutting it. Too subby, not enough definition. Definitely not enough growl. I'm finding myself...

This is the bag now. As you can see the strap on the left is much more worn. I was thinking about cutting that strap right at the crease (in the other pic) then sewing a new strap on - but if I can get away with glue or something that can work too.

I have a great gig bag from Ibanez but the straps are falling apart. Thinking about cutting a bit of the top of the strap, sewing the ends (to avoid fraying) then adding a metal ring to attaching a replacement strap. Anyone have any other ideas?

I checked the Ibanez page and you're right. My 1305 and 505 has the same radius as the Willis. This eliminates the worry about matching the radius with a pickup (I've replaced the PU on my 505 with a stock Big Single). Now comes the fun part: I don't necessarily want another Nordstrand thing...

Those same guys were saying you can't get them due to the proprietary nature of the high end Willis'
