It's an homage. The metal control plate has a jazz bass cut at the top of it where it ties into the pickgaurd. Instead of a jazz bass straight plate it's a precision curved plate made from a repro late 50's pickgaurd. That plate has switches and knob placement reminiscent of G&L. The pickups...

Agreed. It’s a monster sound. Versatile. I had to make that one out of an already modified 62 Precision. And yes it is a Glenda. Part precision, new and original, part jazz bass, part stingray and part G&L. the homage.

Not much warning. Power dipped several times then surged and it was toast.

Got a set of the Heritage 10's for the Ampeg 410HE. The part number above is correct. The Heritage 10's are indeed a different thing than the regular 10's. Not by much to look side by side in the raw, but in the cab they sound significantly better than the mid 2003 Eminence they replaced...

Eminence makes the same part number in both China and the USA? How do you tell the difference to whomever you order from? ...or are the heritage drivers that much better?

Reading a bunch of threads here and I still can't sort this out. The typical 10" driver for quite some time has been an Eminence made 86-032-01 32ohm 10". Eminence makes the Legend B810 as well. It appears that the drivers in the Heritage SVT are something yet again different. Does anyone have...
