Last night I ordered a Mesa Subway D800+ to run my Ampeg SVT 810E cabinet. My question is, will I have to use both speaker outs to get the full 800 watts out of it?

I just got an Ampeg SVT 810e for some larger shows I will be playing, and need to find a good head to push it. I really like the options of the Blackstar Unity Elite 700, but it operates at 2.67 ohms. Would it be lower wattage at 4 ohms? If you have played this setup, what was your impression?
