    Actually, it was my fiendish plot to get her to play bass. It worked. Not guitar, lord no. Didn't want her taking over any of my guitars. Tastemybass here is her bass teacher.

    Sorry guys, I'm a guitar player.:D Just about to pull the trigger on this bass for my wife: Link Removed IDK what "Soapbar" PUPs are. Are they just overwound SC PUPs like my P-90's? Noisy like them? Sound much different than the SC's in her Jazz bass? Ran a search, but didn't find...

    The PUP's are interesting. "soapbar"? A hot SC like P-90's? I'm guessing they would be hotter than the SC's in her Jazz bass? Thanks for the help, she found her teacher here and he's very good indeed.:bassist:
