New bass day!

I haven't been playing too long so, my husband picked out this bass for me and like the way it looks and the way it sounds. It's an SX BG 204.

The pick ups are only a litter hotter than my Fender Jazz Bass.

Does anyone know what kind of pick ups I might be able to a hotter sound?

Its new bass day for you to. I just got my Peavey T-40 today. Great looking bass by the way.

The PUPs in it are actually nice and punchy. Might not jump to
change them out just yet. Action could be lower, 'prolly take it in
for a setup tomorrow.

With my one and only SX purchase, I found that when I changed the strings I got better output. I don't really know why, but it was a significant difference.

Anyway, nice bass, have fun!
