I ended up letting it go. I just couldn’t justify it. It was prettier than my other BTB, but quality wise. It didn’t feel any better, it didn’t play any better, and I didn’t think it sounded better. I have three different 500s and I actually prefer those.

Valid points. But with the BTBs, I keep one in my car for downtime between patients, and the two I keep at home are in different tunings. The 1000, though, is completely redundant. Since I don’t prefer the Bartolinis and I’m not big on aesthetics, I’m having a hard time justifying keeping it...

BTB600E update. I returned it to Guitar Center. The 34” scale was a deal breaker. I’m sure they’ll post it back on their website, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re in the market for another MIJ 4-string BTB.

Thank you so much. Not knowing was killing me. I had no idea it was 34”, I have 3 other BTBs, all 35”. I guess I’ll have to see how I like it when it arrives.
