I adjusted both the pickups height as per several recommendations in the internet and now they sound cool

Thanks everyone for your valuable feedback. I did few tweaks by adjusting the height of both the pickups and that did the trick. Now it sounds great. I can feel the active and passive tone to be well balanced and equal when set to flat and hence there wasn't any need to tweak the trip pots :D...

So there is no need for me to adjust the trim pots right ? Basically if I understand correctly, both the active when set to flat and passive mode should have equal volume. Please correct me if I'm incorrect. This is the first time I'm using a bass with active and passive switch.

Is it safe to adjust the trim pot ? Would it cause any impact in the long run if we set it to high ? Mine sounds a bit low too
