    Hi Folks. I am a long time reader on TalkBass 😁 but never initiated a post though. I wonder if you guys have noticed a lost of low end with the Morley 20/20 when fuzz on… what I would have is that the fuzz turns only on when I press the wha pedal. Is this possible ? Any of you have never did...

    What are the real advantages of lightweight heads?

    I went from heavy weight SVT Ampeg amp and 810 cab… so none of my bandmates wanted to help anymore as we are all getting older. I have got a Demeter 800W head at 6 pounds and a Bergantino CN410 at 47 pounds. I can’t be more happy. YMMV.

    I would suggest to get rid of the preamp pedal. There is no need in your setup. YMMV.

    I was long time looking for a very good pbass with jazz neck. I have been lucky to find a Fender Custom Shop at local store that plays as an angel. I would say that the pickup has a lot of « torque ».

    You would have a sidechain EQ to avoid low frequencies squished and also have the possibility to run at 18volts or higher to avoid transistors clipping from low frequencies. I have a FEA Opti-FET compressor that meets all these requirements.
