    Just thought an active 80s metal type sound would be cool in this bass. I just wondered if it was easily do-able and if others had done it. I don't think I want to route out the body. I'm not THAT married to this move. :)

    @Reedt2000 I mean I could maybe... MAYBE rubber mallet them in, but I would be worried about damaging them. They seem to be too big both length and width.

    Anyone had issues getting an EMG P-J set to fit in a stock Bartolini equipped Euro? I bought a set of Doug Wimbish EMGs and they don’t fit.
