I think there are more than that - I have some old AKG K240DF headphones, that I absolutely love (also 600 ohms). Very light on the low end, but I have never heard more detail.

Similar to cabinets, a composable system for heads might be interesting to design. E.g., D800-, and you can add another 400W with an additional bridged power amp module when you want more. But I think most of us want simplicity and fewer things to remember.

Just measured with my iPhone using NIOSH SLM app. From about 1 ft from front of D800, ~33 dB when amp is off, ~35dB when turned on.

Bought my PB-50 in July 2018, came with 5 screw bridge.

One time my D800 was about to slide off my cabinet (not the fault of the D800, it was a punk band and we were using green Slime on stage), and I could swear I saw Andy pop up from behind the cabinet, push the D800 back to the middle, give me a wink, and then he was gone just like that!
