I got my Stagg BRAND NEW for $349 from Amazon!! Unfortunately, that deal only lasted a few days. I personally really like my Stagg, and actually play it much more than my upright.

My fork bracket is missing the thumbscrew, and the bracket seemed to be fixed in place, so I couldn't figure out what was going on. I just took another look at the stand and after giving the bracket a good hard push I was able to slide it all the way down, which is where I wanted it.

Is this piece adjustable? I can't get the "fork" portion of the stand to adjust vertically.

Searched through this forum and found that Helicores won't fit. Anybody with experience with Corelli 370's?

I'm guess I was lucky to be Johnny-on-the-spot. That $349 Stagg pricing is history. Those prices lasted about 3 days. Amazon says that Austin Bazaar has shipped my bass so I'm waiting with great anticipation. Should be here by early next week.

I just checked Amazon and those Staggs just went up in price from $349 to $399. They now say there are 8 basses available.
