I haven't, it's a recent acquisition and wasn't planning to change twice in such a short time :( I'd be worried about losing too much high-end with tapewounds.

Yeah, they're way down. That doesn't seem to be the issue.

Absolutely, no problem there. Brand new strings though, which makes the issue more apparent due to more upper harmonic content.
