Thank you sir. I'm always afraid to tighten the thick part of the strings around the tuners, even if when I had a set of Thomastik Infeld flatwound strings on a 34" Yamaha BB bass I never had a problem, and I had never cut those strings because the producer himself suggests to never ever cut...

Been reading all the 15 pages now, so much interested in this gem! Sorry for the dumb question, but, which type of strings is this bass supposed to be strung with? I've never had a 32" scale bass.. Short scale strings, or normal long scale? Or do you need to search for 32 inch scale strings...
