    With equal wattage, which amps are the loudest?

    The loudest are the ones you build yourself in a rack. I used to use a crown DC 300 to drive 2 JBL 18"(1200watts) at 4ohms and 600 watts to 2 -12" bullfrogs with 50 watts to the horns.
