how do the modulation effects sound before the SGT?

Can't you put the modulation pedals after the line out? SGT - line out - delay - phaser - amp? I'm trying to figure out how to connect/order my delay and phaser, and it's not so easy apparently.

Hey I hope you're still around! I just got the SGT DI and I'm wondering what's the best way to string a phaser and delay? From your photos it looks like the DI is the last box in your chain, but I can imagine with modulation pedals this would not be ideal. Do you happen to know if I can just run...
