    I intend to pick up a 5 string, fretless, acoustic bass and have been looking around at what's available for $650-$750. I see Micheal Kelly's instruments all over. Anyone have any experience with this instrument? Thanks, Woody

    L1000 neck

    my early 80's L1000 has a funky warp in the neck which may or may not be able to be fixed. My questions are: will G&L work on or replace the neck and second; where would I be able to find a replacement neck. I'm in SoCal. Thanks, WoodyA

    If I was interested in buying another bass, I would. I took care of the pup issue, and since I posted, I may have a repair person for the neck. Thanks for the reply though.

    It looks like the warp in the neck may be ir-repairable. Where would I find a replacement neck? and original pickups. Woodya
