thanks bud yeah, i've heard it called a "reverse" hybrid before. i can't daisy chain the 8x10" to a 1x15" because it has literally just one input jack. are you suggesting running my head into the 15" and then chaining it to the 8x10"? or just using both output jacks on the head?

thanks brother! i only ask because i've found some 400's for sale, usually for a grand or even less, which is enticing. but i also have a friend that runs a peavey 5150 to a mesa 400+ and it's crazy good anyway, i'm pretty sure the + is the way to go

hey dudes, thanks a ton! i think i read something about the 400+ having a gain or "fuzz" channel, is that true? do they both have that? and by the way, i have done a couple searches i can always find info on the 400+, but i can't find much on the 400 plus 99% of the sites are pretty sketchy...

does anybody know the difference between the two? from what i've been able to find, i know they both are no longer being made, and it seems like they stopped making the 400 long before they stopped making the 400+ is the 400+ better? does it have more options?
