I grabbed a Mustang P/J and it’s stellar overall. I played the Gibson DC tribute as well and it was quite good, I just wanted to save a bit of money and was hesitant about the bridge type. CME has an aged white DC that looks great.

I have a wonderful 1996 MIJ Standard Precision bass but I’m struggling determining how to get an appropriately fitted pickguard for it. Can anyone shed some light on what to look for ? Thanks for an insight.

When I looked at my basement corner of gear I realized I still had an old peavey tko 65 that was given to me years ago. I'm gonna use this old thing to get a feel for it again, probably look at adding a sansamp for some warmth. Thanks again for all the replies.
