I’ve got a Spector and recently got a Dingwall droc. Between those 2, the dingwall feels somewhat shorter in spite of the fact it has no horn to hang the strap From so it’s really behind the neck. It’s rediculous how good it feels in the hand. I imagine the combustion would feel even better

Easily worth the price difference over an American fender. My Spector euro is one of the nicest basses I’ve ever played.

Due in large part to this thread several months ago, I wound up on a Spector hunt. After I found a euro bolt at the right price I ordered some emgs and an LHZ to put in it…. Holy cow! You knocked it out of the park with this one. It sounds incredible! 5 stars from me sir.

After shopping forever, and gassing for a Spector for years, I finally joined the club! These things are top notch. I’d say the hype is real. I do have some emgs on the way to drop in as well.

They don’t. The hipshots are way smaller. They do make ones that are the same layout as stock but I’m not sure if the weight savings.
