    I wasn't planning on replacing the jack until I was replacing the pickguard and noticed how flimsy the stock jack looked. I asked the setup guy at GC (don't laugh, the guy at my local GC does good work ) to replace it, he agreed that it looked subpar and replaced it for free!

    Mine were just white plastic so I just slipped them on. I had to do a search to see how to remove the original black covers, you just hold the cover while pushing the pole piece with a screwdriver.

    I got mine back from getting set up today. Went with the Mikro strings and a Dunlop .45 g. Replaced the pickguard, pickup covers, knobs, strap buttons and the output jack. I absolutely love it. It's so easy to play and it sounds great!
