Welcome "Gabe Foltz" ! You are Official Short Scale Bass Club member number 542Looks like my Gretsch G2220 Electromatic Jr Jet II gets to pull double duty. Love to have a number!!![]()

Just got this on Tuesday, my arthritis was making even my birdsong too tough to play. My main gigging bass for the past year has been a kala cali 5 string, I think this is going to take its place. Marleaux consat sopran tuned standard rather than piccolo. Experimenting with strings still, the BEAD flats on it are a little too stiff, labella 1954 set arriving tomorrow. I can't wait for tomorrow night's gig!

I should mention that the birdsong went for this bass in trade, with happy recipients on each end.

Sounds just fine for me... I like the Motown background sound (MISTER Jamerson) & my current physical limitations (recent neck/spine surgery) make this a joy to play & enjoy... (currently through an older Peavey KB 100 or 300... depending on which room I'm in)... thanks for the support. You're gonna love it!
