Yes - dying to know as well. There doesn't seem to be anything on the Dogal website anymore either...i heard those were introduced at NAMM this year but after that... ...nothing. anyone played them or has them. i'm a fan of the DR ones and would like to know how they compare....
Dogal are made in Italy and imported by Strings By Mail. Their Carbon Steel (Jaco) Flats are great!Wow, these strings sure are expensive. $Invalid Link Removed? I hope that's the retail list price.
I liked Hellborg's DR strings. I don't think I could use them all the time but they were great for recording, no string noise and very full and punchy sounding.
I (and they, in the marketing verbiage) was talking about flexibility, not necessarily the same thing as low tension.I use low tension strings already
True, but while I'm no metallurgist, low tension to me = flexibility.I (and they, in the marketing verbiage) was talking about flexibility, not necessarily the same thing as low tension.
I know you know that, just clarifying. They usually get conflated. Oh well.
Imagine just the core wire of a normal E string.low tension to me = flexibility
