The information I was able to find tells me they will not work on that Mustang, or bass requiring medium scale length. I was curious about them fitting my Squier Jaguar H, but looks like no dice.Wow thats awesome!
Curious if they'll fit a Mustang with the longer string-through length needed
I feared as much! They should work fine on my Squier SS Jaguar though, so I still look forward to themThe information I was able to find tells me they will not work on that Mustang, or bass requiring medium scale length. I was curious about them fitting my Squier Jaguar H, but looks like no dice.

A European store expects them come late July (I guess they'll pop out sooner Stateside).I wonder if these are available yet? Its summer 2023!!!
Finally !!!
I bought a set about 1 month ago. Everything about the standard scale Cobalts pretty much rings true with these; bright, crisp but can obviously be toned down with the tone pot, muting, etc. I like the spaghetti-like stringy-ness of them! Fun to bend. This set is on a Squier Jaguar SS Bass with EMG GZR PJ pickups. I have plans of putting them on another stock SS Jag bass to see the effect of the ceramic pickups. Definitely brighter than GHS Brite Flats, but I may just be liking the mids of the Brite Flats a bit better........ that's why I'm going to try them on the stock Jag. Always fun experimenting with that elusive perfect sound, right?how have folx been liking these?
Different color, for sure! They look kinda different, especially on my Fiesta Red Jag SS Bass. This almost makes me want to do like @WI Short Scaler did and dye them silks a more pleasant color, lol.Wonder if they have the same skinny silks as the long scale.
