    Okay, so far... UNT to study with Mr. Bradetich Eastman to study with Mr. VanDemark UW to study with Mr. Lieberman And just out today - IU (I'm assuming to study with Mr. Hurst 'cause of the bow compatibility, but the letter doesn't specify. Either studio is fine by me.)

    I had BU on the 4th - it went pretty well. I was surprised they let me get through all of Bottesini Tarantella (which was good aside a few rough harmonics in the end section), and Koussevitzky Mov. II. They also let me play my Mozart 39 excerpt.

    Double Bass strings for a very bright new double bass

    If you're trying to decide between Evah Pirazzi and Belcantos, I would base it off of what you do more. For orchestral stuff, Pirazzis are the way to go. They have powerful, warm low strings and a really nice pop to the pizz. Belcantos are also quite warm, but they have a more singing high...
