I am doing some further looking into what I am told is 1965 Hofner 500/1. Does anyone know where the Serial Number is located on those instruments? The dealer can't find it. Thanks in advance.

Came across a '65 Hofner, lefty, looks to me to be all original, no dings beyond normal wear, pretty dull finish with a good deal of spider web type of finish cracking. Is there any real musical value to it beyond the obvious "conversation piece" value? I believe it was thought to be a...
