The p pup on my bass has way to much power compared to the j pup. Can I run a flex core preamp AND emg p/j x off of one 9v? Will that reduce "headroom" or is it not even possible Should I just take out all foam from the p? Lower a bunch? Should I put in a pot to limit the p pup? Can I add a...

Its emg jx with an Aggie opb 1. Two band sounds good but when I try and move the blend all the way to the front or the rear there is a massive gain/boost that happens any thoughts?

I've heard that micro tuning bridges such as though seen on a 90s fender p bass plus can rob tone. Any truth to that? And what about bridges in general? Will a bad ass II have more mids and punch then a hip shot? In other words what does a bridge do other than hold your strings?

It has the factory kubiki pre amp in it now. It's not very versatile. The two band eq really acts as more of a huge volume boost. I like volume in my eq mix, but I just want something that sounds.... Tastier. Terrible description I know. Oh also I've replaced the lace sensor pups with emg x.

Ive got at 36 inch Carl and the only strings I can find that fit (locally) are 100 -45 d'addario. But what if i want a 95 Scale? Suggestions? Websites?
