Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I was wondering what measures one must take when playing acoustic as opposed to amplified. I recently took upright up after getting tendinitis a few years back and I come from a mainly BG background. Any advice?

So I replaced the strings on my fretless bass with D'Addario halfrounds a month ago, and about a week or two later I noticed that the D string was seriously rusted. At first I thought that I just forgot to change the D string, but I changed the strings again with a new set of halfrounds...

Has anyone every heard of an amplifier company called Sonic? I recently bought an old Sonic Bass Cab. It sounds phenomenal but I haven't been able to find anything about the company so I don't know the model, wattage handling, or any other details.

The neck of my fender jazz bass has a ski lift at the end of the fingerboard. It is really interfering with any sort of adjustments of setups I have done on it. Does anyone have any advice as to what I can do to fix it? Someone suggested filing the frets down but I'm not entirely sure if...
