    JB has major hum

    I'm new to the bass and just got my first one, a '93 JB MIJ. It's a beautiful instrument and in great shape. But, after only a few minutes of playing there was a LOUD hum. I know it's the bass because it happened with two different amps with two different cords. Any ideas? Worse case...
