Anyone out there know of a desiccant product that is specifically designed for use with musical instruments? Or the best viable alternative? I live in an area that has recently the highest ever recorded humidity, heat and rainfall, and the humidity and heat are usually pretty bad. Thanks.

My son found double thumping difficult on his Fodera Monarch, because there was too much distance between the string and the body (the top) of the bass. So I got a sheet of clear pick guard plastic (the stuff that is sticky on one side) and cut a shape to fit just around where the thumb...

My 20 year old Pedulla is running through 9V batteries like crazy (flat in a week!), I am using expensive alkalines. It has all original parts and soldering, maybe something is shorting out? Any ideas before I take it in to my expensive fixit man?
