i just picked one of these bases up. I really like the feel and sound of it, but just wondering on what anyone who owns or owned one thinks, as I am a guitar player looking to expand on my playing abilities. Is this a good choice for bass to get started?

Here is my latest purchase. A 1977 Traynor YT-1500 2x15 cab. As you can see from the pics, it has been well used over the last almost 40 years with a lot of dings and torn tolex with moisture damage on the bottom side. I will be completely stripping it down, fixing the damage and restoring it...
