Those of you who say you can sell your flats if they don’t work for you... Do you not cut them when you put them on your own bass? Or do you trim for your own bass then are still able to sell them? I’m curious because I want to try TI’s but, don’t want to be locked in if I don’t like them.

I know they’ve only been out a short time but, I was curious if anyone has kept the Gold Flats on for an extended period of time and was curious how they’re aging?

I just took ownership of a G&L Tribute L2500. I changed out the strings to Labella Deep Talkin Flats (string through). However, the B is more boomy than I'd expected. Which set of strings would you recommend to experience the full versatility of the bass?
