    When Selling Flats

Those of you who say you can sell your flats if they don’t work for you... Do you not cut them when you put them on your own bass? Or do you trim for your own bass then are still able to sell them? I’m curious because I want to try TI’s but, don’t want to be locked in if I don’t like them.

    La Bella Gold Flats Longevity?

I know they’ve only been out a short time but, I was curious if anyone has kept the Gold Flats on for an extended period of time and was curious how they’re aging?

    GHS Pressurewound VS Balanced Nickels

From the videos I’ve seen, they seem to occupy similar sonic territory. Are there any major differences other than less string noise between these two? Do the Pressurewounds last longer? @Jon Moody , could I get a professional opinion? :)

    37" Multi-scales - Who makes them?

Fanned fret basses are popping up more and more these days from different manufacturers. I've read somewhere that in order to have a clean B all the way down the neck without wolf tones a 37" scale is required (if this isn't true, please correct me). My question is, other than Dingwall, ESP...

    SOLD G&L JB-2 Tribute w/ Upgrades

This 4 string bass is in mint condition. It's passive with the normal controls you'd expect from a jazz bass. I've upgraded the pickups to noise cancelling Dimarzio Model J's which are amazing sounding pickups in their own right (please look up the reviews). I also added Dunlop Strap Locks...

    SOLD G&L L-2500 Tribute

This 5 string bass is in great condition with exception of a small ding and the normal buckle rash (all seen in the pics). It's extremely versatile in both passive and active mode. I did upgrade the strap buttons to Dunlop strap locks (they can be used with a regular strap) and will include...

G&L L2500 Strings for Best Versatility

I just took ownership of a G&L Tribute L2500. I changed out the strings to Labella Deep Talkin Flats (string through). However, the B is more boomy than I'd expected. Which set of strings would you recommend to experience the full versatility of the bass?

    Lakland 55-01 Skyline vs G&L L-2500

I currently have a G&L Tribute JB-2 4 string. I'm adding a 5 to the arsenal and have narrowed it down to either the Lakland 55-01 Skyline or a G&L L-2500 Tribute. What are your suggestions/thoughts on on each?

Dimarzio Model J vs Bill Lawrence J-45

I'm proud papa of a new G&L JB-2 (jazz style) Tribute. While I like the stock pickups, I don't like hum. I've narrowed my choices to the Dimarzio Model J and the Bill Lawrence J-45. While there are plenty of soundclips of the Model J, there is hardly any of the J-45. Does ANYBODY have...

    G&L Tribute Jazz Pickup Polarity

I have a G&L JB-2 Tribute on the way. I'm aware that G&L uses the same size pickups for the Tribute line (to cut down on costs) which isn't the norm for their American counterparts. So with that, my question is: since they are the same sized pickups are they at least wired reverse polarity so...
