    I am a half-assed bass player and not really too well-informed. A Buddy of mine (with considerable available funds) wants to get a Jon Shuker Bass. Handcrafted in England with exact precision, etc, etc but are they really worth over 2 Grand? i know the Guy from The Stranglers plays them...
