I’m not currently building cabs but, the new celestion pulse xl drivers look good in sealed cabs. A pair of the 12’s would likely be great in the Ampeg svt212av with the ports plugged. About 3.5 cuft internal volume.

I own an Ampeg svt212av cab and noticed that when I plug one of the two ports to drop the tuning I much prefer the sound. Lower and tighter. I find it to sound and feel even closer to a sealed cab. More thud like the berg nv610 cab.

Not that you can actually buy one but, I’ve been curious about this driver for sealed cabs. If I plug the basic t/s parameters into my eminence software the low end goes way deeper in a small box than is realistic. If I use all parameters and calculate a few the results seem more realistic...
