Thanks neuman. When I was following this thread last year IIRC some people had problems with the Sonic Port when it first came out. Was there an actual issue, and did it get addressed?

Well Charlie I guess that makes you Club Italia member #7 and 8! Maybe you're right about the tailpieces, but I think MF just has old photos. When I got my Maranello a couple years ago, I looked for one with a tailpiece but couldn't find one. And the ones on the MF site had tailpieces then too.

Hey guys, I just got a Squier VM Tele Bass Special, and I'm liking it except for one thing - it hums when using the bridge pup (and when blending both). What can be done - replace that pup? If so, any suggestions? Is there something else I could do, like shielding or something? Thanks.
