Bass Beauty Pageant

I would love to own one of these basses. My preference would be the Stingray.

As a person who favors fancy tops with matching headstocks, it was a real surprise to see how hard I fell for this bass. Not the most awesome looking bass by any means but a head-turner nonetheless. And...it's a Ken Lawrence. For some reason the color scheme and overall vibe makes me think of violins and cellos. I swore I'd never spend this much for a bass. Never say never. Weighs about 8.1 lbs. More important than its beauty, it inspires me every time I touch it.
