Thanks bro! Yes I think I know what you meant by oddly staccato notes - I think it's just poor playing mixed with having the audio EQ'd a bit too much, the treble is a bit high so those notes stick out a little too much. Sounds great through my studio monitors but when I listen through laptop...

Not a problem, certainly not an advanced setup but seems to work. I'd like to work on getting my head properly around the dynamics processor and using it to it's max ability....mainly using just so I don't clip the input on my audio interface, but I'm sure a bit more knowledge and tweaking...

For sure man, Rio Funk is awesome and quite accessible to those reasonably proficient at slap...or at least those that have that internal "groove" down pat...that other tune is nice too, not too busy, very Marcus!
