    Perhaps one like my Veyron T BV1001T 2000-watt Bass Amp with Tube Preamp $399 new and 2000 watts(into some load....lol) might work for the other gent. 3x12ax7's in the preamp section. Plus, one gets to see the filament glow thru the front window.

    As usual, Mingo...thank you(again) for all your very useful help. I have a 50's mic base(with the flex neck) that is great for a mic like the Shure. I think that the all metal base must weigh 20lbs...lol.

    Hi Mingo I guess that I could try thru a mixer. The Reddi instructions, IMHO) suck. Plus, as you mentioned......the vol control(like a preamp), I guess. T add to the confusion, the Bugera amp has a pre(tube) amp in it to add to my confusion.....lol. Again, thanks for all your help!!

    This might seem like a dumb question, but..... I have a new REDDI which has a 1/4"/female XLR input and a male XLR out. The REDDI also has a 1/4" input "thru". My Bugera hybrid amp only had a 1/4" aux input on the rear(of course, a line in for the bass on the front.. It has an XLR balanced...
