    Hi. I have a custom built 5 string bass that is built relatively similar to a Dingwall NG3 Nolly. It is 34"-37". Originally it was on a black string set that is not tapered. I tried using Original Dingwall or Payson strings that are tapered, but it doesn't work on this bass. So I'm wondering...
