Hello. I'm working on a Fender Geddy Lee Signature Jazz Bass with a John East J-Tone Preamp installed. If I solder the bridge ground wire to the copper shielding tape in the control plate cavity, will this suffice or should I connect said bridge ground wire to the ground connections on the preamp?
