custom edition

I found this bass for sale locally and was seriously tempted. It's a looker and unique for sure. The seller identifies it as a 1993 "custom edition" PBAC from Fender Japan. He says "made in very low numbers and never marketed probably less than 100 produced (if that)." I can't find any...
