    My new custom P/MM 5 string KOCA bass

    After a long research & even a longer decision period, my custom bass project is finally finished and i wanted to share the joy with you :) I already have a G&L L-2500 (2 humbuckers) and a Ibanez SR-1405 (2 single coil pickups) so i wanted a P/MM configuration. I really liked Delano pickups...

    What is the benefit if a 5-string bass? 6-string?

    Why would a bassist need a 5-string bass? What is the benefit of a lower string? What about a 6-string bass?
