    Drop D with 115 Gauge

    Hey TB, I've just picked up a Sire V7 Vintage, had the dude set it up with some GHS Bass Boomers 50-115. Gotta say it sounds so thick and goes great with my heavy picking style. Does anyone else use thick strings for Drop D or know any bassists that do?
