indentify

I sell gear for artists and stars! I just got this Fender Jazz Bass I thought was from the 60s. My setup guy said no way. I agree, but it is a bit of a curiosity! Maybe some of you guys can help me identify it. First curiosity: Headstock only has the Fender logo. No Jazz, no Precision nothing...

What is this bass? She is a full scale solid body violin bass. Probably some asian lawsuit, but i'm looking to see if anyone has one remotely similar. If i can get my friend(a guitar player) to part with this, i may trade for it. But iv'e always wondered what exactly it is.
