jazz bass wiring blend tone volume

Hey all, I’m looking into options for a blend pot for my newly acquired j bass. I found this, and I’m wondering if it’ll work for a j bass?Mojotone CTS Blender Potentiometer - 250k The write up says it’s for a strat, but is there any reason it wouldn’t work for a jazz?
