I wanted to share this. A friend of mine here in town that plays many many shows was in a discussion with a friend about how she ran a marathon and according to his phone on St. Pat's while playing 9 hours he had run 16 miles. She said i don't think it is the same. He says -well in a marathon...

Just picked up this beauty... When I was 17 years old I bought a Shergold Marathon bass guitar for £89. Shergolds were hand made in London and were a British equivalent of Gibson or Fender at the time I think. I sold it in the mid 80's for about the same as I paid for it... and regretted it ever...
