peavey frets

Would it make sense to refret a 90's maple Peavey Fury neck (in part) to resolve a ski jump issue? I leveled and crowned the frets, which helped a lot and it plays fine, but the frets are pretty flat now. I've admittedly been looking for a reason to try my first refret and this bass seems...
